Former Reality Star Battling Cancer: Updated

If you were a fan of VH1’s Celebreality shows that were on about 5 years ago, you remember Real (real name is Ahmad Givens). He first appeared alongside his brother Chance on “I Love New York” (Chance is on the left, Real on the right in the picture above) and eventually went on to his own show “Real Chance of Love”. He then went on to other tv shows, a radio show, and even a hair care line.

Unfortunately, the 33 year old has been diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. He is figuring out his next step in treatment at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.

Miss New York (real name Tiffany Pollard), the star of the show that brought Real into the spotlight, responded on twitter to a tweet asking if she heard he was sick:
