Joe Giudice Heading to Trial, Rejects Final Plea Deal

In New Jersey courts yesterday, Joe Giudice, husband of Teresa Giudice from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, rejected a final plea bargain from the state regarding allegations that he drove with a suspended license and acted as his brother and used his brother’s documents in an attempt to get a fake driver’s license.

The plea would have landed Joe in jail for an unspecified amount of time (some unconfirmed reports claim four years) according to northjersey.com. He and his lawyers apparently think they will win a trial, so the plea bargain was rejected.

The date of the trial will be set on May 28.

We really like Joe and Teresa and hope that for their sake and their children’s sake, he avoids going to jail.
