10 Things We Learned From Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Secrets Episode

This season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has finally come to a close with the “Secrets” episode. Here are 10 things we learned:

1. Kyle claims Faye was not her mouthpiece. Umm… maybe Faye wasn’t her mouthpiece, but Kyle seems to have at the very least fed her information that she attempted to use against Brandi. We have seen Kyle gossip and we have seen her play both sides. These are facts that can’t be denied.

2. Yolanda says Faye saying that buying a chanel bag makes you a lady is among the dumbest things she’s ever heard. We can’t help but agree. The only thing dumber is using the murder of your friend to make yourself famous… Oh, wait. Faye did that, too.

3. Taylor doesn’t have her drinking under control. Wait- this is a secret? We’re shocked! Seriously, though, she’s had a tough life- so to a CERTAIN extent, we get it.

4. Kyle found Taylor’s behavior at Porsha’s birthday party inappropriate. Well, we found- and find- Kyle’s behavior inappropriate almost all of the time, so to quote Justin Timberlake, what goes around, comes around.

 5. Adrienne cares more about her money than her friends- according to Taylor, at least. Granted, watching Taylor have her millionth public, alcohol-induced breakdown is old, BUT- it was hard to argue with her when she said that Adrienne cares more about her money than her friends. Adrienne has never been there for her friends through three years of this, yet has expected her friends to rush to her aide when her marriage “fell apart” (aka she destroyed it by going off on Paul more than a drunken driver veers off the road) and when Lisa “betrayed her” by going to another Vegas casino for Pandora’s bachelorette party. Let’s just say we’re glad she’s gotten a huge Maloof Hoof off the network. Period.

6. Brandi thinks childhood stars are hideous. She claims that she wasn’t referring to Kim or Kyle with this comment, but that LeAnn Rimes was a childhood star. Kyle got very defensive about this and claimed she “didn’t have everything she wanted.” Yeah, we know she’s lacking things… like loyalty and a conscience. Other than that, we’re pretty sure she got most of what she wanted.

 7. No matter what happens, Kyle and Kathy Hilton are Kim’s family. This was just a memorable quote from the evening- “no matter what happens, THEY are my family.” Was Kim trying to remind herself of this just in case she “forgot?” Just wondering (and only half-serious).

8. The Mercedes Kyle and Mauricio bought Kyle’s daughter was not 50,000. The base model in the following link is a meager ~$38,000- and, clearly, that justifies buying it for a 15 year old! http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/model/class-C/model-C250C

 9. Brandi did NOT have sex in the bathroom at the White Party. She did make out with someone at the White Party, but she did NOT have sex with anyone in the bathroom there. This was verified by Lisa as well.

10. There were really no secrets revealed on the “secrets” episode. Let’s be honest- this was bonus footage Bravo tried to re-name to make it sound fancier and different. While we LOVE bonus footage, just call it what it was. I mean, we were itching for Adrienne to divulge that she left Paul because he wore high heels and was off to become a drag queen or that  Maurcicio actually is gay (well, we can dream, right?)

Overall, this was an okay season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Nothing will ever compare to the epic second season they had, but it was nice to see these ladies back on our TV’s. What were your thoughts?
