Breaking News: Teresa & Joe Giudice Indicted on Fraud and Tax Evasion

Stars of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa and Joe Giudice, were indicted by a federal court in Newark, NJ today on THIRTY NINE charges, according to the NY Daily News. 

The couple are accused of exaggerating their income when applying for loans prior to the series premiering, and then hiding their improved finances when applying for bankruptcy. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. 

All together, the Giudices were indicted on 39-counts including:

• conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud
• bank fraud
• making false statements on loan applications
• bankruptcy fraud
• failure to file tax returns for 2001-2008
• concealing from bankruptcy court earnings from personal appearances and other incomes

Teresa and Joe are due to be in court tomorrow.
