Teresa’s Lawyer Tells Why She’s Being Targeted

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe appeared in court today regarding the 39 charges brought against them regarding fraud and tax evasion. As we’ve reported, the two could spend up to 50 years in prison. Why, though, does Teresa’s lawyer really think she is being targeted?

According to Yahoo News, Teresa’s attorney, Henry Klingeman, believes that the couple is being targeted because she is a celebrity and that the federal prosecutors go after well-known people so that their work can be spotlighted.
