Ramona Singer and Mario Singer Separate- and she accuses him of CHOKING her!

We are saddened to announce that Real Housewife of New York City Ramona Singer and husband Mario Singer will be separating. 

It was announced today that the pair are splitting. We are a bit surprised, as these were rumors we tended not to believe, especially since we’ve seen Ramona with Mario and they seemed genuinely happy.

In addition to the separation, we are shocked to learn that Ramona has accused Mario of choking her in a domestic dispute on Friday in their Hamptons home.

Apparently, when the cops were called, Ramona (in true RHONY fashion) offered them a glass of wine. No charges have been pressed to date.

We don’t know what to say, other than that we feel terribly for Ramona and her daughter, Avery, and wish them the best always. We’ll keep you updated as this story unfolds.
