Gretchen Rossi Claims RHOC Is Toxic

This season, noticeably absent is Real Housewife of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi and beau Slade Smiley (who, aside from Vicki Gunvalson, had been on the show the longest). Recently, Gretchen spoke to TooFab.com to tell them her thoughts on the show.

Gretchen claimed, “We’re really happy to be away from the negativity and how toxic it was. As a woman, I am really about empowering other women so it just was not that kind of forum for me anymore. I couldn’t be who I was in my everyday life on that show, so it made it very difficult. It became a big contradiction in my life.”

Gretchen continued, “When I walked away from that, I don’t want to go back to watching it because it gets me all upset. It provokes these emotions of frustration.”

According to the website, Gretchen also claimed that she and Slade have been offered their own reality show and that wedding plans are still in the works but they will not give a date yet.
