Survivor Contestant Dies in Accident

Former Survivor: Blood vs. Water contestant, Caleb Bankston, died in a railway accident yesterday.

Caleb, 26, worked at the Alabama Warrior Railway in Birmingham and a train he was working on accidentally derailed, killing him.

Caleb had a boyfriend, Colton Cumbie, also a former Survivor contestant.

I personally really appreciated Caleb being on Survivor. He was a gay man that broke the stereotype of what one would expect a gay man to be. He was accepted by all and was a great player. My sympathies go out to Colton and Caleb’s family and friends.
