Congratulations are in order to Real Housewife of Miami Lea Black, who will be releasing her first NOVEL, “Red Carpets & White Lies.” The book will be released next April. Want to see the press release?

Here it is:

Known as an entrepreneur and for playing a prominent role on the reality television show The Real Housewives of Miami, Lea Black now joins Beaufort Books. Red Carpets and White Lies: A Novel (April 2015), part of a planned series, will give readers a taste of Miami’s signature (and sometimes scandalous) social life, through the eyes of its main character, Leigh White.

In a city known for its never-ending parties, Miami socialite Leigh Anatole White hosts the most extravagant party of them all. Her annual Charity Ball, a star-studded benefit for troubled teens, is the most highly anticipated event of the season, and Leigh pulls out all the stops to ensure it doesn’t disappoint—all while dealing with the usual drama from her friends and pseudo-friends. But as always in the world of Miami’s rich and shameless, a scandal is never far off…and this one hits everyone close to home.

Red Carpets and White Lies promises to be a fun page-turner for fans of Lea and newcomers alike.
