Eric Goldie Has Jewelry Line (and reacts to Aviva’s “Couples Therapy” Stint!)
Remember Eric Goldie who appeared with Carole Radiziwill on the Real Housewives of New York City last season? Well, he now has a cool jewelry line, “Oxford Ivy.” We spoke with him about this- and even snuck in an Aviva Drescher question- recently.
We first asked Eric how he got the idea for a jewelry line. He tells us, “I actually started Oxford Ivy as a clothing line when I was a freshman in college. It was too hard to store boxes of clothes, and I don’t think my roommate appreciated me turning my dorm into a stock-room. Ultimately, it was easier to switch to jewelry.”
Eric tells us that the jewelry, which we must say is really nice, has been designed by him and a few designers as well.
Here is an example of a piece, which we actually rocked this past Sunday evening:
He actually wore these on RHONY, telling us, “I wore it in the scene where I was trying to open a wine bottle for 30 min. The secret to getting product placement on Bravo is by being as low key as possible.”
Wondering where you can buy the pieces? Eric tells us, “I’m working with a few different stores right now, but internet is so much easier! Last year I had the top selling men’s bracelet on Amazon.com, which was amazing, and you don’t even have to deal with the hassle that comes along with brick-and-mortar retailers anymore. The easiest way to find it is by going to: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=mw_dp_a_s?ie=UTF8&k=Oxford+Ivy”
As for what pieces he will be making in the future, Eric tells us, “I’m really into leather men’s bracelets. I think they’re simple but add a great finish to any wardrobe. I’m also really into shark teeth right now.”
Interesting. Before we let Eric go, we couldn’t help asking him what he thought about Aviva Drescher, who was previously on RHONY, going on VH1’s “Couples Therapy.” Eric said, “Wait..WHAT?! Looks like she’ll do anything for a dollar.” Haha!
We adore Eric and love his jewelry line. We will keep you posted on new pieces he comes out with!
