Why Has Mama June Hired A Lawyer?

Mama June of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” fame has gone ahead and hired a lawyer. Why now? 

According to reports, Child Protective Services is evaluating her family after it was revealed that June is dating Mark McDaniel, a man who had molested her eldest daughter over 10 years ago.

A source spoke to Radar Online about June hiring a lawyer, saying, “June thought it was necessary to hire a lawyer to help her during this very difficult time. She has made it known to the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services that she will cooperate with the investigation. The lawyer was only brought on board to help deal with the navigating through the system.”
