Aliens and Zombies and Tractors! Oh My!: The Bachelor Episode 2

I am pretty sure this season of The Bachelor is going to be the one season that I say wow over and over again.

Last week, Kimberly was so upset she did not receive a rose, she walked back in and begged for another chance. The Long Island yoga instructor felt she was not given a fair chance with Chris. Of course, Chris, ever the gentleman, said he’s going to let her in. Do not be fooled though; after going on a group date, Kimberly is still sent home.

Megan and Jillian snuck into Chris’ bachelor pad and Jillian wore such a skimpy bikini that ABC had to cover up not just her booty, but also her front. The dynamic duo is playing (or maybe not playing) crash test dummies with Chris’ motorcycle helmet. Good thing they were there to determine his helmet is safe to ride with.

The first group date of the season kicked off with a pool party and tractor race in downtown LA. I was anxiously waiting for one of the girls to reference Kenny Chesney’s “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.” Even though Ashley wins the race and gets a little alone time with Chris, he decided to ask Mackenzie out for a little one-on-one time at a bar. Mackenzie is a sweet girl with her adorable one-year-old son Kale. But she also has an interesting side to her. She thinks guys with big noses are sexy and talks to Chris about aliens. Perfect first date topics right? (I know I totally discussed those with my husband on our first date!)

The one-on-one date with Megan was just a little bland. Megan was not even sure that she was picked for the one-on-one date. The two flew from LA to Vegas and explored the Grand Canyon, had a nice romantic picnic, and of course smooched a lot. For the Bachelor, this truly was just a run of the mill date.

Which brings us to the final group date and the antics of Ashley S. The girls are killing off zombies with paintball guns and shrieking screams of terror. Ashley S. is clearly a beast when it comes to the game. She’s just all over the place and possibly possessed by the aliens that Mackenzie talked about with Chris. Nothing she said made sense. As the last girl to get called during the rose ceremony, it’s possible it was a sympathy rose. Pretty sure “Women Tell All” and “After the Final Rose” will feature a lot of hilarious footage of Ashley S. and her antics.

During the cocktail party, Ashley I. confides to Mackenzie and Megan about her virginity. It makes total sense to talk to the two girls who both have roses before the ceremony. Mackenzie thinks Ashley’s virginity will keep her around longer because guys like that. However, I have my own doubts of Ashely’s virginity. She was smooching hard core with Chris and her belly button ring with three wishes is a little bit obvious that there’s something more she is not telling.

At the end of the night, Chris says goodbye to a couple of the house drunkies – Jordan and Tara. He also parts with Alissa, Tandra, and Kimberly. Let’s see what next week brings for McFarmer and his ladies.
