Gia Giudice Playing Mom While Teresa Away?

While 42-year-old Teresa Giudice, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is incarcerated, daughter Gia Giudice, who will turn 14 this month, is apparently stepping up to the plate to play the role of Mom, according to a new article on Radar Online. What is she specifically doing to help out? 

According to a source who spoke to the site, “Teresa and Gia have always had more of a friendship than a traditional mother-daughter relationship.”

Due to this relationship, the insider detailed that, “Gia is stepping into the mother role. “It comes naturally since even when Teresa was around Gia was frequently responsible for disciplining her siblings.”

Luckily, though, Gia isn’t the only one parenting now that Teresa is away. According to another source, “With their mother gone, the four are totally dependent on their dad now.”

Regardless of Joe stepping up, which he proved more than capable of during Teresa’s first day away, Teresa’s absence is definitely felt, as the initial source claimed, “This truly is a sad situation for all of the children.”

In addition to Joe helping to parent his children, he has also been trying to keep things positive for Teresa, especially when emailing with her while she is behind bars.
