EXCLUSIVE: RHONJ NOT Filming Yet- Here’s Why
Now that Teresa Giudice has surrendered to prison, fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are DYING to know what is going to happen to the series.
Every rumor has surfaced, from the show being delayed until 2016 to Jim Marchese detailing how the show could go on without Teresa.
Recently, another rumor surfaced, claiming that filming would begin this April.
We spoke to a source close to production who informed us that, sadly, this is not the case- and their explanation makes perfect sense as to why.
“Manzo’d With Children is going to be filming in March/April, and talks are that Housewives will not be filming until after Manzo’d wraps,” our source informed us.
Why couldn’t they film at the same time? “They use the same production company for both shows and this would make it impossible for Housewives to film while Manzo’d was filming,” the source stated.
So what is Bravo doing with RHONJ? “They are currently casting for new housewives. Bravo was not happy with the new people. It’s uncertain if they will give them another shot,” the insider dished.
Have any decisions ultimately been made though? Our source wrapped up with explaining that, “Nothing is 100% set in stone yet.”
There you have it. Like you, we are anxiously awaiting news about the future of the show, and we will surely keep you posted as soon as we receive any.

They better not be waiting for Theresa to get out of jail! This is not the Theresa show and I personally would love a season without her & her lies!
This sounds reasonable to me. I just hope it means that the contemptible Jim Marchese will not be returning.
