Fired But Inspired- Kristen Doute STILL Wants On Vanderpump Rules!
While Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute claims she knew she was going to get fired on last night’s episode, that isn’t stopping her from insisting she still wants to be on the show.
Doute talked to Bravo’s The Daily Dish today and had some interesting things to say.
What specifically did she discuss with them?
On getting fired, Doute told The Daily Dish, “I had this weird feeling and I happened to walk by the VIP room in the lounge and I saw Lisa sitting with Ken and Guillermo and Nathalie—their business partners—and my manager sitting at the table and I though to myself, ‘Oh no, this isn’t good.’ I had a feeling it was about me.”
Regardless of Doute being upset about getting fired, she stills seems to be giving credit where credit is due. She explained that, “I have to say, I wouldn’t have any of this without her (Lisa Vanderpump). I wouldn’t have the job, I wouldn’t have the show. So as much I’m not her biggest fan and vice-versa, I’m grateful for the opportunities she’s given me.”
Doute also dished on how she still wants on the show even though she no longer works at SUR! She told them that, “At this point, we’re three years in and everything that I’ve been through, I put my life on the line for everyone to see. I’d want to continue the journey. I don’t want to throw everything away just because I don’t work at SUR.”
While we can’t imagine how Doute would fit into the show, as she not only no longer works at SUR but was also banned from ever coming into the restaurant again, she does have some other projects going on.
She explained that, “I have a t-shirt line I’m really excited about. It’s graphic tees, easy to wear and comfortable. It’s for girls all shapes and sizes. I’m really proud of it.”
In addition, Doute stated that she’s going to be “working on a vegetarian blog” that will feature “not just recipes but my lifestyle too.”
“It’s nice to put my energy into positive things rather than going into SUR and dealing with all that negative energy,” Doute wrapped with saying, adding that, “So really, I have to thank Lisa.”
Doute’s co-stars seem to agree that her getting fired was for the best, as co-star Scheana Marie took to her Bravo blog today to slam Doute.
What do you think? Would you still want to see Doute on next season or do you think now that she doesn’t work at SUR, her time on the show is up? Let us know!
