Vicki Gunvalson’s Mom Suddenly Passes!

While Vicki Gunvalson has been enjoying filming the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County with some new blood, last night Gunvalson tragically lost her mother.

Gunvalson took to Instagram at 11 PM PST and wrote, “Tonight I received a phone call that is every person’s worst nightmare. My amazing, beautiful and strong mother passed on and is now with the love of her life my father in heaven. I am who I am today, because of her. An amazing cook, organized, bold personality and had a sense of style and fashion that I adored. I miss you so much mommy! My life will never be the same without you to give me advice and your wisdom. You were so healthy and so vibrant and so beautiful. I still need you. I love you MOM.”

Gunvalson included a beautiful photo of her and her Mother with the post.

This morning, Gunvalson took to Facebook to write, “Last night I received one of the worse phone calls of my life. My mother died suddenly and unexpectantly in her home last night. I will never be the same without my mothers love, wisdom and strength. I love you mommy!”

Sources close to the situation tell us Gunvalson’s Mom’s death was unexpected and that she is heading to Chicago with her children to be with her family.

Having dealt with loss before, we can imagine how upset Gunvalson must be and are thinking of her during this hard time. While loss can be extremely difficult to deal with, we must cling to the memories that we have with the people we loved. From Gunvalson’s interactions with her Mother on the show, it is clear she will have many of these memories to cling to.
