A music movie tie in is where an artist or band records a song especially for the release of a new film. Many times the music video will contain clips from the film or the actors themselves star or take part. Its becoming somewhat of a lost art now but those of us that grew up in the 80’s/90’s remember them fondly.

Many of these tie ins were overly produced, laughably commercial and unforgivably camp.
