According to a new report in Life and Style, a divorce is on the horizon for the currently incarcerated Real Housewives of New Jersey star. 

A source explained to the magazine that Teresa has begun “divorce proceedings from behind bars.”

Specifically, they revealed that, “She’s been getting her ducks in a row so she can file papers.”

Why hasn’t Teresa just told Joe about her plans for this? The source explained that, “He’d lose his mind. And she’s seriously afraid of what he’d do.”

When does Teresa plan to file for divorce? Once she completes her prison sentence, according to the insider, who detailed how Teresa had gotten a divorce attorney prior to entering jail- and they’re still in touch!

The source stated that “As soon as she’s free, she’ll be ready to pull the plug on the marriage.”

Aside from years of cheating allegations, including a source last year claiming Joe has always had a wandering eye, it seems that Teresa ending up in jail was the final straw, as the insider claimed that, “She can’t forgive him for what he did to her and their children.”

“Teresa can make millions on her own and she doesn’t need Joe anymore,” the source wrapped with telling the magazine.

While we were hesitant to report these rumors until we heard more, we will admit that we have heard the same things from sources WE have close to the situation.

Regardless of the status of their relationship at this moment, Joe has been trying to keep things positive when emailing Teresa while she’s away.
