RHONY Season 7 Update!

The seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City is forthcoming and we wanted to bring you an update with the latest info!

First, we have heard that taping for the season wrapped last night. In addition, the trailer is scheduled to be released in approximately 1 month.

Housewife Sonja Morgan recently spoke to OK! Magazine and said the following on the forthcoming season: “We really have strong relationships going now with the other half of the cast that joined the old veterans. I love it!”

Sonja also told OK! that, “Bethenny is great. I think we needed a little jolt in there!” and dished on Countess LuAnn de Lesseps that, “We’re cool,” she told the mag. “I know we’ll always be friends. No man can come between us!”

Speaking of Countess LuAnn de Lesseps- who we exclusively revealed will be a “friend” of the housewives this season– she spoke to People Magazine this week and dished on the upcoming season.

The Countess told People, “We just came from the Housewives trip. That was pretty crazy. We always say to each other when we start the season, ‘What are we gonna come up with this time around?'”

She continued, stating that, “We don’t make this stuff up. It all stems from what is really going on with us, so I was thinking, ‘What kind of drama is there really gonna be?’ Because God knows the show doesn’t work without some drama. And you know, it just happens.”

How is the Countess’s relationship with returning cast member Frankel? She explained, “I didn’t know what it was gonna be like, I thought it was going to be awkward but it actually turned out to be good. We get along really well so it’s like old times … it’s kind of like the good old days of Housewives.”

And what about her relationship with Ramona Singer? She revealed, “You are going to see a different dynamic between Ramona and myself. It’s changed for the good.”

With all of these updates, we are definitely excited for the new season, which is rumored to feature a new housewife named Dorinda Medley.
