When news of the Josh Duggarmolestation scandal broke, it was reported that two of the five underage girls he had molested when he was 14 were family members. Now, according to a new OK! Magazine exclusive, the victims who were family members may have allegedly been identified.
The exclusive in OK! notes that Jill Duggarand Jessa Duggar, sisters of Josh, are “relieved” now that the truth has emerged.
An insider dished that, “They have been carrying what happened to them inside for so long, smiling and pretending nothing was wrong. They felt abandoned and betrayed, and they’ll probably never forgive Josh or their parents.”
From the sounds of it, it definitely sounds like Jill and Jessa were the family members he molested.
The source noted that although it’s “humiliating and traumatizing to live it all over again” Jessa and Jill are “glad that people finally know the truth.”
The insider also revealed a disgusting fact, stating that their parents told them “it was their Christian duty to forgive Josh, and if they didn’t, God would be angry with them.”
“There was no support from Jim Bob and Michelle; all their worry was for Josh,” the source added. “They were told not to tempt Josh, to wear looser clothing so he wouldn’t make another mistake. They were also forced to cook and clean for him and hold his hands at prayer time. They started to think it was all their fault.”
UPDATE: Ahead of tonight’s interview, the Fox news press release states that, “Megyn Kellyspoke exclusively with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as two of the victims, their daughters Jessa and Jill, regarding their son’s molestation allegations.”
