Fans of Teresa Giudice were thrilled when her Twitter featured a new tweet for the first time since she headed off to jail earlier this week. Critics of her were also quick to comment on it, asking how someone behind bars could tweet and/or insisting it couldn’t possibly be her. Giudice’s lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., has commented on the tweet to the press to confirm it was not Giudice who issued it.
Teresa Giudice Twitter Gia Tweeting
When speaking to E! News, Leonard confirmed that “Teresa absolutely did not send the tweet herself. She does not have access to Twitter.”
So who sent the tweet?
“She asked her daughter Giato please post it,” Leonard confirmed. “She wanted to thank her fans for the hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of mail that she’s received since she’s been incarcerated.”
“In particular,” he continued, “she received an outpouring of kind words and support on her birthday. She is truly grateful.”
Leonard also confirmed that we may see more action on her social media, ending with telling E! News that, “While Teresa’s finishing her sentence, she may continue to communicate with her fans this way.”
