Duggars Not Done With TLC!

Yesterday, TLC announced that they cancelled 19 Kids and Counting, but the cancellation was apparently more of a publicity stunt than anything else according to some exclusive information we obtained! Want details?

In their public response to their cancellation, the Duggar family wrote, “We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.

We know Who holds the future and are confident that He will work all things together for good.

We love each of you and look forward to unfolding the future with peace and joy.”

With an upcoming special featuring the family dealing with the molestation and spin-offs from their series likely, all TLC did yesterday was cancel the original show. They in no way actually cut ties with the Duggar family. This is according to a  source close to the situation.

Specifically, the insider dished that, “If TLC really took the molestations seriously, they would be out of business entirely with the Duggar family. Instead they cleverly hid a new show’s announcement within another show’s cancellation.”

They continued, “TLC sees this sad affair as a ratings and money-making opportunity, which is just sad.”

In addition, the insider added that, “This is why the Duggars did not seem nervous in their response. They are acting like they are okay with it because they know more opportunities lie ahead.”

Interestingly, many advertisers already began leaving 19 Kids and Counting weeks before the show’s cancelation. It will be interesting to see how they react to the special and likely spin-offs.

Tell us- are you looking forward to the special? And what do you think about the news that TLC is still doing business with the Duggars?
