Bravo Ratings May 2016

Bravo Ratings Weekly Roundup

Ratings Talk!

After taking a week off from reporting about Bravo ratings, let’s get back into it!

Bravo Ratings May 2016 Week 1

The Shahs of Sunset, featuring the camping trip, was up approximately 40,000 viewers and 0.1 in the demographic from last week.

Mondays kick off with Southern Charm. Its ratings were up by about 300,000 viewers from last week, which did help the Real Housewives of Dallas.

Oh, the Real Housewives of Dallas. The good news is this: the bleeding ratings have seemed to stop. This week’s 838,000 viewers is actually up from last week! The hope is that the show will remain there or gain more fans as the season continues.

Now the bad news… this show is doing significantly worse than the other Housewives shows including the Real Housewives of Miami, which has been silently cancelled. Bravo might have some patience with the show, as its ratings have slightly gone up, but will they ever match the levels of the other Housewives shows? That remains to be seen.

Tuesday at a special time featured the third and final part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale.  The episode was down approximately 200,000 viewers and .1 in the demographic. Next week, the season wraps with a clip show, which normally has less than average ratings.

This led into Below Deck spin off Below Deck: Mediterranean. This show premiered to 1.039 million viewers. This is slightly below the original show, Bravo must be pleased with the results.

On Wednesday, the final part of the Little Women: LA reunion, which has already begun filming its next season, had 1.309 million viewers. Its spin-off, Little Women: New York lost almost 200,000 viewers, but still had respectable ratings.
Rounding out the week is the ladies of the Real Housewives of New York. The show had ratings identical to last week’s 1.232 million and .5. This is slightly above the season average for the show.

Questions lingering for next week include whether this is the first step in upward mobility for RHOD and how the ratings for Below Deck: Mediterranean will go. Stay tuned.
