Corey and Miranda Simms Respond To Leah Criticizing Miranda
On this week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, fans saw Leah Messer‘s sister bring to Messer’s attention how her ex Corey Simms‘s current wife, Miranda Simms, was not being good to her Messer’s children due to Miranda not helping Messer’s daughter Ali carry her backpack. As fans know, Ali has muscular dystrophy. Understandably, this upset Messer when her sister informed her of this. Corey took to Twitter to respond to the criticism of his wife. What did he have to say?
Corey Simms Leah Messer Criticism of Miranda Response
The comments that Messer’s daughter specifically made were that, “Miranda always gets mad at me cause my backpack is too heavy. I give her my backpack when it’s too heavy… she says, ‘Ali, I have to hold the baby.’”
Simms took to Twitter to say that after watching the episode he was “shaking my head. People talk big. A simple co parenting convo turns into much more. A simple everyday task gets blown way out of proportion.”
“My place is still the worse place for them to be,” he added, obviously sarcastically. “Tune in for much more TM2 action.”
Corey and Miranda also spoke to MTV, where Miranda said, “I always try to carry Ali’s backpack for her. I would never try to do any harm to the children or create any kind of task that I know Ali cannot do.”
“I’m not saying how she felt was wrong,” she added, “her feelings are important. I just hope that we can move on, and I hope that the girls feel comfortable no matter where they are at one time.”
Corey also told MTV that, “Miranda has been around the girls since they were two years old. Miranda is aware of what Ali is capable of and what she’s not capable of doing. If Miranda would have felt that the backpack was too heavy, she would not have made her carry the backpack.”
