Reality TV Ratings May 2016 Week 4
Sunday’s episode of Shahs of Sunset, which featured the wedding of Reza Farahan and his now husband Adam Neely. The episode was down 40,000 from last week to 1,180,000 viewers and .5 in the demographic.
Monday had a new episode of Southern Charm (1.180 million, 0.4 18-49 demographic) led into the Real Housewives of Dallas, which recently filmed its reunion episodes. The episode was down about 30,000 viewers and .1 in the demograohic. It had 856,000 viewers.
Also on Monday, MTV had a new episode of Teen Mom 2, which was basically on par with last week’s episode (1.444 million, 0.8 18-49 demographic). A special after the episode placed well in the weekly ratings as well.
ABC had the premiere of its summer staple, The Bachelorette. The show returned to over 6.5 million viewers and a 2.0 in the demographic. This is a strong return for this show!
The Chrisley family had slightly lower than average ratings on USA with 1,196,000 viewers and 0.5 in the demo.
Over on Bravo, Below Deck: Mediterranean was down about 50,000 viewers.
Wednesday saw two episodes of Little Women: New York. The 9pm episode had 953,000 viewers and its audience, involving the aftermath of the intervention, grew 50,000 viewers. Finally, the big story of the week is how well the Real Housewives of New York did this week. The show, which had fallout of the fight between Ramona Singer andDorinda Medley, hit a season high 1,558,000 viewers and 0.5 in the demographic. This was an improvement of over 200,000 viewers.
