While we have already confirmed that The Real Housewives of Dallas is getting ready to begin filming (read about that here) and the fact that there would be two new cast members- one of which is Kameron Westcott– no one has known who the second new cast member would be (read about that here). We have now exclusively discovered who it is and are excited to share with you! Read on for details.
RHOD Season 2 New Cast Member Number 2 Revealed Exclusive
According to what we have learned, the second new cast member is a woman named D’Andra Simmons.
Through our research, we have learned Simmons owns a skincare line entitled Hard Night, Good Morning. On the website for the line, there is a bio that gives more information about her:
“Born and raised in beauty-obsessed Texas, where it’s all about big hair and high heels, D’Andra Simmons has spent more than 18 years in the nutrition and skin care industry. In 2008, with a serious love for life and devotion for skin care, D’Andra founded Hard Night Good Morning™, a natural, aloe vera based skin care line that is paraben, sulfate, phosphate and phthalate free. Since then, D’Andra has explored the world’s most exotic locations to bring natural luxury at an affordable price to anyone and everyone, from party princesses to CEOs, like herself.
Her accolades do not stop there; that same year, D’Andra was honored with the “Distinguished Woman” award by Northwood University. A year later in 2012, she was a winner for People Magazine’s “Real Beauty at Every Age” search. She has been named one of the “10 Most Beautiful Women in Dallas in 2008” and named a “Fresh Face of Fashion” by Modern Luxury. She has graced the covers and inside pages of some of the nation’s favorite magazines such as W Magazine, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly, In Touch, Cowboys and Indians, Vanity Fair, and More Magazine in Great Britain.
D’Andra has also served the local Dallas community as an Advisory Board Member of Booker T. Washington School for the Performing Arts, volunteering with the Junior League of Dallas, AIDS Services of Dallas or Cattle Baron’s Ball for the American Cancer Society, and supporting various organizations that assist victims of domestic violence and cancer. So, whether she is helping people fight wrinkles and fine lines, or raising money to find a cure for cancer, D’Andra is dedicated to making peoples’ lives healthier, happier and more beautiful.”
While we’re not sure who she knows on the cast yet- or if she’s friends with any of the women- she already does have a Facebook page that is liked by RHOD cast member Cary Deuber, a Twitter, and an Instagram.
Based on her bio, she definitely sounds like an interesting choice and we can’t wait to see her on the show.
