Ashlee Holmes Claims RHONJ Is A Sinking Ship Amidst Alleged Racist Audio Of Danielle Staub

Not Holding Back!

Ashlee Holmes, daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita, took to Facebook this week to share her thoughts on a hot topic right now in the RHONJ community- namely, alleged audio of returning alum Danielle Staub that has surfaced in which some racist words are dropped. Holmes shared a post Kim DePaola shared of the alleged audio, and Holmes was quite open regarding her thoughts on the situation, including pointing out that one of the producers who has played a strong role in bringing Staub back is a “woman of color.” Read on for details.

“Okay… I came across this on my feed and I couldn’t help but watch and see what this train wreck has done now,” Holmes began, with sharing DePaola’s post of the alleged audio clip.

“And I am just… not at all surprised,” Holmes continued.

She then elaborated that, “What DOES surprise me though is the fact that one of the executive producers on this show (from Sirens Media) is a woman of color- named Dorothy Toran. Dorothy LOVES to preach female empowerment, equality, acceptance etc… so it’s REALLY interesting to me that she’s played (and continues to play) such a strong role getting Danielle Staub back on the Real Housewives of New Jersey– especially after knowing that she’s heard this recording.”

“I guess morals go out the window when you DESPERATELY need ratings???” Holmes added. “Unreal.”

Holmes wrapped with saying that, “As much as I love and support my girl Dolores… RHONJ has become a sinking ship. It would take some substantial revamping in order to salvage it. Good riddance. I’m so disgusted with the choices the executives at Bravo have made over the last few years. The people they’ve chosen to give a platform to genuinely amazes me.”
