EXCLUSIVE: Nathan Griffith Shows Texts With Jenelle Refuting Claims Of Refusing Changes In Visitation and More
Late last week, a story broke on Radar Online with court documents in which Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans responded to a filing by Nathan Griffith’s Mom. In this filing, Evans claimed a multitude of things including:
“Defendant has not maintained a business-like, respective tone in his communication with Plaintiff. Defendant’s communication with Plaintiff consists of name calling, threats, and demeaning accusations.”
“Defendant refuses to co-parent with Plaintiff or agree to any changes in the visitation schedule, specifically Defendant refuses to switch visitation weekends with Plaintiff to allow the minor child to attend Plaintiff’s upcoming wedding.”
“Minor child has returned from his visitation with Defendant with severe bruising on his buttocks.”
We exclusively spoke with Griffith regarding these allegations to get his response- which he shared, along with text messages between him and Evans.
Griffith first addressed the bruising Evans alleged, claiming that, “When there have been issues relating to Kaiser, Jenelle always call days later. The claims she made about severe bruising onmy son, she actually called three days later claiming there were new severe bruises on him. Bruises usually show up 24 hours within the injury due to internal bleeding of some sort. At most, but not excluding that some bruises do occur after 48 hours. So, if she called Wednesday, the earliest the incident could have happened is Monday. Not during my visitation. Besides, she called cps to review the incident…”
“She called CPS,” Griffith continued. “It wasn’t severe. It was a little mark. CPS said it doesn’t look like abuse, but rather looks like he fell or something. My Mom and I have several pictures where it looks like Kaiser had marks on him. That’s when Jenelle started accusing us of stuff because my Mom was taking pictures and we told her. Each time I would address this with Jenelle, asking where the marks were coming from. I also asked her why Kaiser was petrified of water. One time she slipped up and told my Mom he fell off the boat. Even Kaiser told me he fell off the boat… To this day, if you try to carry Kaiser in water where he can’t touch, he starts freaking out. I have video proving this.”
As far as the accusation about compromising, Griffith stated that, “That’s not true at al. I can think of several occasions off the top of my head (where I’ve changed visitation). A week after Kaiser’s birthday, she had him the weekend before and she urged to have him the following weekend because Jamie and her were planning a party for the kids. Once again, I agreed, as long as I could have him the following weekend for a few extra days because I couldn’t make it to pick him up until the follow Saturday. I addressed the reason why was that my step father had a scheduled surgery for Friday, which is the pick up date, and so my parents would be unable to pick him up. Once again, when the time came, Jenelle wouldn’t let me have Kaiser for a few extra days. I still had to drop him off on Sunday because Jenelle said he had to go to his school because it was an academy that is really expensive.”
“There was another time where she went to the mountains and it was her weekend and she said she had Jace and asked if she could have Kaiser, even though it was my weekend,” Griffith also claimed, giving another example of him being flexible with visitation schedules. “When I then asked for him on a weekend of hers that I had Emery (my daughter) with me, she refused to allow him to stay with me.”
“Still another example was this month,” he added, “I had Emery and asked if we could switch weekends so Kaiser could see his sister. She again refused, claiming she had Jace and Kaiser needed to see Jace. I told Jenelle to remember what weekends are hers this month. I said that because her wedding is this month. I knew that if we didn’t switch weekends the one I wanted him, then I am physically allowed to from mediation papers to keep him the weekend of her wedding. It doesn’t say anything about personal celebrations in our mediation papers or ceremonies.”
“We give into her all the time and she doesn’t compromise,” Griffith wrapped with saying. “She keeps lying about me, trying to make me look bad, and that’s why I’m finally responding.”
Griffith did show some text exchanges with Evans (which we’ve included below).
The first two show what Griffith was referring to where he asked Evans this month for Kaiser, and he reminded her to remember which weekends were hers.
The third shows where Griffith denies Kaiser going to Evans’s wedding.
The fourth shows Evans claiming Griffith is like her Mom.
The fifth, sixth, and seventh show Griffith trying to get in touch with his son on FaceTime and having difficulties in September.
The eighth and ninth show him trying to FaceTime Kaiser another time and having difficulties getting in touch.
The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth texts show where Griffith asks for the extra time he claims Evans promised him with Kaiser in exchange for giving up his weekend, but she declines.
Griffith also shared two exclusive videos showing Kaiser being afraid of the water.
