As fans of Teen Mom 2 noticed, Jenelle Evans‘s ex, Nathan Griffith, allowed their son Kaiser to attend her wedding this past weekend to David Eason even though it was technically Griffith’s weekend. So why did he do it? We caught up with Griffith exclusively to find out. Read on to see what he told us.

“After thinking more about it, my Mom and I thought it was the right thing to do,” Griffith exclusively told us. “People don’t understand that I’m not trying to make Jenelle’s life harder or be difficult.”

“As I showed with the series of text messages, I generally try to be courteous,” he added. “When I said I wasn’t going to let him go initially, that was because I was frustrated by how she was behaving.”

Griffith wrapped with saying that, “Of course I was going to be decent and let her son go to her wedding. Hopefully Jenelle will remember this going forward and give me the same courtesies.”
