Peggy Sulahian Finally Answers If She Is Homophobic Or Not
Real Housewives of Orange County newbie Peggy Sulahian has taken a lot of heat amidst reports that she is homophobic due to her being estranged from her brother (who is gay). Recently, in an interview with The Huffington Post, Sulahian finally addressed the rumors directly. What did she say? Read on for details.
Peggy Sulahian Homophobia Rumors Addressed
Sulahian told The Huffington Post that, “We have been estranged for more than 20 years. He was informed of our father’s passing and was present at the funeral. There were many people there to attest to this fact.”
Sulahian went on to say that, “Regarding the allegations of homophobia, perhaps actions speak louder than words. I am surrounded by people of every race, faith and lifestyle choice, so the answer is clearly NO.”
We appreciate Sulahian finally once and for all addressing this rumor.
She also dished on appearing on Watch What Happens Live and the reunion (as rumors had said she wouldn’t do either) and she stated that, “No, scheduling did not permit it earlier (see above regarding Peggy’s recuperation post surgery). I am looking forward to going on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, October 2nd. I love Andy and his personality and can’t wait to finally meet him! And of course I will be at the reunion, isn’t it all about the reunion anyway?!!”
