Last night, Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Sulahian finally appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Sulahian looked gorgeous, if we do say so ourselves, but the most important moment of the evening (in our opinion) was her getting to address the rumors that she is homophobic/banned her brother and his partner from her father’s funeral due to her brother being gay.
What did Sulahian have to say about these rumors/accusations?
“Absolutely not,” she began. “I am not a homophobe. Absolutely not. We have not spoken in 20 years. My brother and I. No. I am not a homophobe. I support the LGBT community. I love them. I have nothing against them.”
“It has nothing to do with him being gay at all,” she added. “It’s a private family affair. And that’s just what it is.”
We applaud Sulahian for addressing this in such an open and direct way.
