The Fun, Exciting Taste Of Reality Real Housewives of New Jersey Tour

Recently, I got the opportunity to go on the Taste of Reality Real Housewives of New Jersey tour. Taste of Reality is the only resource to find places like restaurants, bars, doctors and hotels on our favorite reality TV shows including Real Housewives, Southern Charm, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Love & Hip Hop.
Being a huge fan of reality TV, I was excited to get the chance to go visit a few of the “hot spots” that had been featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The first spot I stopped at was Paradise Nails and Spa in Towaco, New Jersey, which was featured on the show in season 5 episode 4. I treated myself to a manicure and pedicure and the service was awesome.
While the experience was relaxing and great, I have to say that as a fan of RHONJ, one of the coolest parts was looking at the wall while getting my nails done and noticing a collage of Christmas cards. While that normally wouldn’t be exciting, I have to admit it was kind of cool to notice holiday cards from Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga amongst the collage.
Next, it was off to Sizzle Tans in Totowa, New Jersey, which was featured in season 5 episode 10. While I don’t do traditional tanning, I’ve always been a fan of spray tanning, and Sizzle Tans did a great job making me have a summer glow in this fall weather. Again, fans of reality TV will also love this place for the pictures on the wall, which include pictures of Snooki and Teresa Giudice getting their tan on.
By this point in the day, I realized I needed some caffeine, so I stopped by Kafe Neo in Totowa (which is in the same shopping center as Sizzle Tans), which was featured in season 5 episode 3. I treated myself to a delicious cappuccino (with Skim Milk, of course), and then was on my way to go home to get ready to go to my last spot.
The last spot I went to was the Ainsworth restaurant in Newark, New Jersey. While The Ainsworth in Hoboken (Chris and Albie Manzo’s casual place) was featured on the show, this was a sister location. The restaurant offered one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a while. We did a selection of small plates, including the Brussel sprouts with bacon, hanger steak flatbread, crispy artichokes, and some delicious drinks. Food aside, The Ainsworth also had a neat rooftop lounge with a view of the New York City skyline.
To wrap up,if you’re watching one of your favorite reality shows and you see a place you like on the show, head to Taste of Reality to find all the locations and businesses in that episode. You’ll see their contact information, which stars were there, and even a recap of what went down.
Aside from just finding places, Taste of Reality also creates custom tours based on the shows for you. If you’re a fan of reality TV, this truly is a great experience you will absolutely enjoy. I had quite the fun time myself.
