After Netflix’s Making A Murderer got huge last month, everyone has been talking about Steven Avery. While Avery hasn’t said much- other than releasing news that he was filing an appeal for a new trial- he finally released a statement to his supporters. What did he say?

Here is a statement from Avery that his lawyer posted on her Twitter:
While it’s not lengthy, it clearly reiterates that Avery is still attesting to the fact that he’s innocent.
